Whitehouse Deeply Skeptical on Port(posted March 17, 2002)
Democratic gubernatorial hopeful Sheldon Whitehouse said he was "not quite" ready to pull the plug on the proposed new port at Quonset Point, but that he was "deeply skeptical" about the port. Interviewed on the WJAR-TV show "10 News Conference", Whitehouse complained that no one from the private sector interested in developing a port had shown up with money.
