Now, Morabito is claiming that "Holmes and others saw a pot of gold waiting to be had courtesy of the state treasury" and that he insisted they "leave state government contracts alone." The former chief of staff reports that "the intermingling of personal, business, campaign and government interests by Holmes et. al was offensive to say the least."
On election night, both Holmes and partner LaScola occupied prominent places at Republican party headquarters. Morabito wants to know whether Governor Almond was minding the store.
