Polling Anyone?

The U.S. Senate race has sent potential candidates scrambling to their pollsters for advice.

Providence Mayor Buddy Cianci already has placed a call to his long-time pollster, Fred Steeper, about the upcoming Rhode Island U.S. Senate race in Rhode Island. By the way, Steeper is the pollster for GOP presidential favorite, George W. Bush, Jr.

Former gubernatorial candidate Myrth York is said to be in the field with a poll testing her viability for the Senate seat and Attorney General Sheldon Whitehouse has been taking soundings about his Senate options.

Secretary of State James Langevin has finished a poll for his upcoming second Congressional district race.
